I am really at it these days... (sigh) Everytime I found something good (and most importantly if it is related with Dear Cloud), I will just directly post in whatever circumstances it is. Back then, I fell in love with this song. Without further ado, I will let you listen right away.
This song is sang beautifully by Park Ji Yoon. As you may have guessed from the title '바래진 기억에' or 'In My Fading Memory', this song is about broken heart. Well, when I listened to this song for the 1st time, I just thought the song was so beautiful that I started to shed tears (even though I was not broken heart at that time :D) I did not understand the lyrics right away but when I found out the subbed video, it is even worse. Hahaha... The translation of the song in English is also good, in my opinion. So, I can finally understand the song as a whole. Now that I understand Korean more, I found that the lyrics itself in the original language is so beautiful. Sometimes, a good song in the original language can be somehow has a very weird translation, so that it makes the song lose its beauty. Yet, it does not happen with this one. Both versions are just great.
So, what does it have to do with Dear Cloud? Well, during my break time wandering around Cyworld, the popular social site in Korea, when I search about Yongrin (용린) the guitarist of Dear Cloud, I found out that he was participating in Park Ji Yoon's 7th album '꽃, 다시 첫번째 (Flower, Again for the First Time). When I checked the title song of the album, I found out that he was actually the composer of the song. Hmm... it was rather unexpected. Yet, I am happy to know that one of my favorite songs is written by one of my favorite musician. :) Hope that I will be able to listen to his masterpiece again soon. Since Dear Cloud's EP is now about to enter its final stage, as mentioned by Yongrin himself in his tweet (@dearcloud_rin), I believe that I just have to wait a little more. Time to get back to work! 아자 아자 화이팅!
